“Dusk-2-Dawn”: Run for Road Safety 2016

It’s been MORE than a year-long of road accountability but the Auto Review Road Safety Olympics has got its final card for the 2015 season still swinging with a bang – with the Run for Road Safety 2016: “Dusk-to-Dawn”, slated on May 22, 2016 at the MOA, SM By the Bay, Pasay City.

As a motorist (long before I became a runner…), I always try to be law-abiding and adhere to the standards of road safety, but here is a situation wherein a collective effort must be enforced for positive change to happen.

Auto Review‘s initiative for a continuous campaign to promote road safety is timely, in view of the hundreds of road accidents that take place in various parts of the country every day, many of which could have been avoided with better information and much-felt responsibility. What better way to spread the word than have people come in force, as they do in a footrace.

That force of 3,000 runners is expected to drum up more interest on the advocacy for road safety, joining any of the following distances:

Distances and Registration Fees: 3K:P400 * 5K:P500 * 10K:P600

Part of the proceeds will go to road accident victims being assisted by the non-profit organization, Philippine Global Road Safety Partnership (PGRSP).
