On its 9th installment and still going strong, AmCham’s ScholaRUN Eat and Run demystifies why food is good for the soul, and running sends more children to school than any other fund-raising event. The American Chamber of Commerce and its socio-civic arm AmCham Foundation (American Chamber Foundation Philippines, Inc. [ACFPI]) embarked on a mission of youth development and education, in fulfillment of its CSR (corporate social responsibility) objectives. In the 8th edition last year, ScholaRun garnered 4,000 runners, which resulted in being able to fund scholarship of about 22 students. Because of this achievement, this year’s event is emboldened to go BIGGER and BOLDER. aiming for 6,000 registrants in more race categories! This is a realistically ambitious target that has already own following of runners who like the unique “eating-on-the-run” concept it offers.
The 9thScholaRUN of American Chamber Foundation Philippines, Inc. (ACFPI), which will happen on AUGUST 23, 2020, at the SM By the Bay, Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City. Registrants of all sizes, shapes and ages can choose their winning categories with respective fees, as follows:
- 200-meter dash KIDDIE MEAL (P500.00)
- 3K TASTY (P650.00)
- 5K YUMMY (P700.00)
- 10K BURP (P750.00)
- all-NEW DELICIOUS 21K (P1,100.00)

AmCham Foundation has been embarking this charity fun run for nine consecutive years, making this worthwhile activity its main advocacy on education. The foundation also feels a debt of gratitude to its member companies and the general public for its unwavering support towards helping educate the underprivileged yet deserving Filipino youth.
